The Hollow - (https://vimeo.com/156887355)

Five years have passed since the infamous disappearance of schoolmaster Ichabod Crane on the eve of All Hallows.  Katrina and Bram Bones host the annual autumn harvest festival.  As memories and ghosts cross paths with the living, the audience finds themselves lost in a party masking an ancient ritual. The town of Sleepy Hollow unites for this yearly celebration with a three-course meal, singing, and dancing-- but the evening's festivities slowly spiral out of control as the town confronts a dark secret. Based on several of Irving’s famous short stories (including The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Rip Van Winkle, The Pride of the Village, The Devil and Tom Walker, and The Spectral Bridegroom) and entwined with several famous legends and myths from revolutionary New England, THE HOLLOW, invites the audience to a Halloween celebration like no other.

“Directors Julianne Just and Genevieve Gearhart once again make inspired use of Chloe’s readymade atmospherics to craft a Gothic-themed, site-specific suspense experience refreshingly unlike the run-of-the mill shock-horror haunts flooding Los Angeles right now.” - LA Weekly

Inspired by Dalton Trumbo’s “Johnny Got His Gun” and drawing on several historical and artistic wartime sources, THE JOHNNY CYCLE guides audiences through a personalized, individual, and epic experience examining the costs of war.  Part I - The Quick and the Dead, moves through personal battlefields; guests come in contact with a multitude of characters--childhood loves, family members, war room generals, soldiers, nurses, and even major religious figures--each character playing their role, intentionally or not, in sending our hero to his destiny as he desperately struggles to be heard.

“...engrossing throughout on a cerebral level, an intricate well oiled machine, well played, well envisioned…” - Bitter Lemons
